Can I use CBD Oil on my Dog ?
NOPC Oils currently do not stock a CBD Oil for pets due to legislation surrounding the use of CBD oil use in animals. Standard CBD Oil used by humans may be considered to strong for the digestive system.
It is suggested that high strength CBD oil that is manufactured for human consumption may affect your pets digestive system.
It has been reported on the web that more diluted CBD oil products, with higher carrier oil content per MG CBD would be more suitable for more delicate and sensitive stomachs
Unfortunately NOPC Oils do not sell products marketed for Animals or Pets.
Can I purchase CBD Oil for Pets ?
CBD products for use on animals or CBD for Pets require a marketing authorisation before they can be sold or supplied in the UK. There are currently no Human CBD based products that have been granted a UK veterinary marketing authorisation.
Can I use a CBD Oil for Humans on Animals ?
Using human CBD products to treat animals is illegal. There are currently no human consumption CBD products authorised in the UK for veterinary use, Your veterinary surgeon may prescribe a legally obtained human CBD product under the provisions of the prescribing cascade.
Administration of an unauthorised product containing CBD without a veterinary prescription is an offence under Regulation 8 of the VMR. Companies supplying CBD products for human use in line with the requirements of the MHRA Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency must not indicate or recommend or sell their CBD products for use on animals or Pets.
